1. For liquid level measurement of volatile liquids in closed containers, what should be paid attention to?

First of all, the speed of sound of the gas in the container may be different from the speed of sound in the air. If the sound speed cannot be corrected by the level gauge, a certain error will occur; secondly, the volatile liquid will condense on the surface of the ultrasonic level gauge probe, blocking the transmission and reception of sound waves. The level gauge is required to have a variable power control function.

2. For liquids with violent fluctuations in the liquid level, how to use an ultrasonic level gauge to measure the liquid level?

There are three possible ways:

(1) Choose ultrasonic level gauge with automatic power control function

(2) Choose a larger-range ultrasonic level gauge

(3) Add a plastic tube to the liquid and measure the liquid level in the plastic tube

3. What is the blind zone of the ultrasonic level gauge?

When the ultrasonic level gauge emits ultrasonic pulses, it cannot detect the reflected echo at the same time. Since the transmitted ultrasonic pulse has a certain time width, and the sensor still has after-vibration after the ultrasonic is transmitted, the reflected echo cannot be detected during this period. Therefore, a small distance from the probe surface downward cannot be detected normally. This distance is called a blind zone. If the upper limit of the measured liquid level enters the blind zone, the meter will not be able to detect correctly and errors will occur. If necessary, the level gauge can be installed higher.
